Recto/Verso is a documentary produced by our partner ESAC in the framework of the SouthMed WiA project coordinated by Interarts and co-funded by the European Union under the MedFilm programme. It will be presented on the 23 rd of July at the International Independent Film Festival of Elche (FICIE).
FICIE is organized by Fundación Caja Mediterráneo and focuses on emerging talents, with the main objective of promoting debate and training on independent production and distribution in the film and audiovisual sector. This year the festival will frame its activities within the Week of Gender Violence and will be a great opportunity to make visible women filmmakers’ productions that, for social and cultural reasons, still remain invisible to the general public.
Recto/Verso highlights the situation of women working in this sector in Tunisia and will open the session Muéstrate at the Huerto del Chocolatero at 21.20h.
