The ARTerial network is organizing the third edition of the African Creative Economy Conference in 6-9 October, in Cape Town. The event will mark the coming together of cultural sector representatives from at least 40 African countries. It will focus on the role of the creative economy, not just as an economic driver, but also as a factor for human and social development that must impact on a more equal distribution of wealth. In a full programme, the conference will raise questions such as the potential of African creative talent, market development, new financing models for artistic and cultural projects, etc.
