The project ''Promotion of the business network in the cultural sector in the Antioquia region, Urabá sub-region, Colombia'' entered its final phase in early October. Among the activities carried out in the context of this initiative so far has been training and support to over 30 entrepreneurs from the cultural and artistic sector who were selected among a number of applicants on the basis of the feasibility of their business ideas. Training subjects included legal advice, policies and cultural legislation, marketing and communication, management, etc. With the strengthening of these entrepreneurs and other advisory and support activities aimed at civil servants, the project has sought to promote cultural exchange that create new areas of coexistence and reduce factors of violence in Urabá. Results of this initiative, developed by Interarts and the Cultural Business Program of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Antioquia, are gathered in the final report.
