Les Rencontres' Meeting: Which Europe of Culture Twenty Years after the Maastricht Treaty? (Maastricht, 22-25 March 2012)

Motivated by the 20th anniversary of the Maastricht Treaty which introduced a legal basis for culture for the first time at the European level, Les Rencontres, Association of European Cities and Regions for Culture, is organizing in this Dutch city a meeting in order to explore the stakes and challenges regarding the European construction in the field of culture in times of crisis. Among other topics, during these days the next Culture Programme (2014-2020) will be analyzed and the issues of interdisciplinary arts related to the change of art professionals will be explored.
