Group Training on Cultural Entrepreneurship in Urabá, Colombia

In the framework of the FOMECC Programme, several group training sessions were carried out in May, aimed at cultural entrepreneurs in the Urabá region. The Casa de la Cultura de Arboletes hosted this activity, which served as a starting point for participants to begin to define their business idea from a sustainability perspective. The subjects addressed in May focused on policies and cultural legislation, cultural marketing, corporate identity, cultural networks and management and finance. With these subjects, the training programme initiated in April on areas such as design and advertising and identification and qualification of business ideas was completed. These activities were part of the FOMECC Colombia-Urabá project, currently developed by Interarts together with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Antioquia with the support of AECID. The aim of the project is to promote the emergence of dynamics of cultural change that affect the environment and contribute to addressing the factors which can engender violence.
