Florence Declaration: supporting the integration of culture in the development agenda post-2015

In October the Third UNESCO World Forum on Culture and Cultural Industries was held in Florence, Italy. It was attended by over 300 representatives of the cultural sector, both public and private, who exchanged their views on the role that culture can play in building a sustainable future. A final document was produced, the ''Florence declaration'', where the key points and priorities were set to be included in the process of preparation of the post-2015 development agenda. The document summons governments and civil society to join efforts in order to promote creative environments, processes and products.
