In early June the Alternativas Foundation presented the report ''The Internationalisation of the Spanish Cultural and Creative Industries''. The work was coordinated by Fernando Rueda and prepared by Anna Villarroya Planas, lecturer at the University of Barcelona; Pau Rausell Koster, lecturer at the University of Valencia, and Javier Celaya, founder of the cultural portal Dosdoce communication. The document points out the impact of the crisis on the creative and cultural sector, which had shown very positive trends in previous years, and highlights the need for a digital upgrade of the sector as a way to improve commercialisation in the global market.
