The FOMECC Colombia project which Interarts is developing together with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Antioquia and which since 2011 has been developed in the region of Urabá, has obtained positive results in 2012. It is worth mentioning the creation of a cross-institution support group and the analysis of 35 business ideas of which 15 were selected for training and advice. Some of these entrepreneurs supported by the FOMECC Colombia project and in the context of the programme were involved in promotional videos of their activities, accessible at InterartsVideo. At the time of writing, the second call for business ideas is open; from 28 February to 15 March, entrepreneurs form Urabá working in diverse artistic and cultural sectors-audiovisual, music, performing arts, dance, crafts, visual arts, cultural management, fashion and accessories, publishing, visual design-can submit their business ideas. The FOMECC programme is supported by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID).
