FOMECC at the 4th Cultural Industries Forum

On 20 November, Madrid hosted the fourth edition of the Cultural Industries Forum, organized by the Santillana Foundation and the Alternativas Foundation through their Observatory of Culture and Communication. The central theme for this edition was "Funding for culture; the State or the Company; Subsidy or Sponsorship". Antonio Gucciardo, Interarts' general manager, participated in the session on the competitiveness of Spanish culture in the global market, highlighting the role of Spain in the framework of international cooperation through the strategy of culture and development, and the need to generate productive and commercial processes between Spanish and Latin American cultural and creative industries created and promoted by Spanish cooperation policies, based on Interarts' experience in this field from the Promotion of Cultural and Creative Industries Programme FOMECC, developed in several countries.
