FOMECC at Interacció 2013

From 8 to 10 May, the conference on local cultural policies Interacció 2013 took place in Barcelona. Organised by the Centre for Cultural Studies and Resources of the Diputació de Barcelona, the event sought to be a meeting space between representatives and culture professionals from both the public and the private sector. In this edition, Interarts took part in the project presentation section, disseminating the FOMECC Programme on Cultural and Creative Industries and its most recent tools: FomeccNet, an international network open to organisations sharing FOMECC's aims and interests, and FomeccBiz, a professional network targeted at entrepreneurs in the artistic and cultural sector, that will be launched soon. Interarts also participated in the final panel session, where its director Mercedes Giovinazzo and other speakers discussed the theme ''Sustainability of Culture: Public Resources, Private Resources''.
