ARTerial: 2nd Conference on African Creative Economy (Dakar, Senegal, 14-16 November 2012)

ARTerial: Conference on African Creative Economy. The second edition of this event will take place in Dakar, Senegal, with the aim to share research done until now on the creative economy in this country and in Africa in general, as well as to provide a platform for African professionals to share their insights and potential new relationships. It will gather around 200 professionals working in the field of the creative industries from over 40 African countries. The conference is organized by the ARTerial network, in collaboration with the Art&Culture Platform, a group of organisations and professionals from the cultural and creative sector which seeks to foster networking and to which FOMECC Senegal also belongs. This project, developed by Interarts and the Association des Métiers de la Musique du Sénégal, is precisely one of the initiatives to be presented at the event. Further information.
